Gaming1 has acquired 100% of the shares online casino Carousel and thereby marking the culmination of a 14-year business relationship between the two.
Renaud Thys, who is in charge of mergers and acquisitions at Gaming1, confirmed the news via his LinkedIn account. Neither of the companies said anything regarding the deal price.
Since 2012, Gaming1 and Carousel have carried out cooperation whereby Gaming1 has been providing technology and content for the Belgian operation. The transaction has allowed Gaming1 to take full ownership of the operator and its customer base.
According to Gaming1, it has already started to implement the acquisition and emphasized that there will be no changes to the workforce.
Head of interactive Juan Covacevich said:

It follows Gaming1 launching its new online-only brand Casino1 in summer 2025, with a press release from the time highlighting its player protection capabilities.
Sylvain Boniver, chief operating officer at Gaming1, said:
