Penn Entertainment returned to profits in Q2 2026, having a net income of 32.6 million dollars, as opposed to the loss incurred in the same period last year.
The results demonstrate further recovery for Penn, which contracted its losses to 2.8 million dollars in Q1 before returning to profit in Q2.
The last quarter revenue increased by 5% year-on-year to reach 1.86 billion, while adjusted EBITDA rose by 32%, amounting to 312.6 million, compared with 236.1 million in Q1 2025.
CEO Jay Snowden states that Penn continues to stay focused on the implementation of strategies that would allow for cash flow growth, elimination of administrative costs, enhancement of segments profitability and strengthening the balance sheet.
Penn has reported EBITDA growth across all of its operational segments located in the Northeast, South, Midwest, and West of the U.S.
Even though in the South segment revenues have slightly decreased, the total profitability of the business improved.
The Interactive segment is still in the red, but losses were significantly decreased in the recent quarter. The segment has suffered adjusted EBITDA losses of 9.5 million dollars as opposed to 62 million dollars in Q1 2025.
Penn has been reshaping its online strategy following the end of ESPN Bet branding partnership in 2025, with a greater focus on Canadian market and the growing U.S. iCasino sector.
