The online sports betting market in New York has continued to see unheard-of success. The internet wagering industry once again broke its monthly income record, this time hitting an astounding $280.6 million, according to the state’s most recent revenue report.
New York Just Missed Setting a New Handle Record
New York’s online sports betting market generated $280.6 million in revenue in November, a 12% increase over the previous record and a new monthly all-time high. To put things in perspective, the previous record was set in May of this year at $248.9 million.
The November revenue total was 21.2% better than November 2024 on an annual basis. In contrast, New York’s online sports betting income has grown by 17.6% since October, according to the month-over-month comparison.
Despite the Empire State’s failure to break its monthly player spending record, the sports betting handling numbers are likewise encouraging. New York sports bettors wagered around $2.61 billion online in November. Compared to November 2024, this represented a 15% rise. Despite being excellent, this amount fell short of the record-breaking $2.64 billion online betting handle recorded in October 2025.
A monthly sportsbook hold of roughly 10.78% is suggested by comparing the online sports betting handle and income numbers.
The market was dominated by FanDuel and DraftKings.
FanDuel and DraftKings continued to dominate the Empire State market, setting new monthly records for their respective companies. The biggest monthly amount ever reported by an operator, $131.9 million, was reported by the defunct business. Additionally, FanDuel revealed a $1 billion online betting handle, indicating a hold of 13.19%.
With $89.1 million in sales and $916.3 million in handle, DraftKings ranked second, suggesting a hold of $9.72%.
Fanatics, which drew $209.1 million in wagers and recorded $23 million in revenue for November, completes the top three. This implies an 11-month delay.
Furthermore, $14 million, $13.5 million, and $4.1 million in revenue were recorded by Caesars, BetMGM, and Rush Street Interactive, respectively. The monthly handle figures for the three businesses were $186.2 million, $171.6 million, and $49.9 million, in that order.
In contrast, ESPN Bet, Bally Bet, and Resorts World Bet made $3.9 million, $1.1 million, and $230K, respectively. $56.5 million, $16.8 million, and $2.8 million were their handle amounts.
