Esportes da Sorte Group has acquired Apostou.com, expanding in Brazil. Acquisition of the Apostou.com includes BETBR Loterias, along with B1BET and BRBET brands.
Esportes da Sorte Group acquisition is a move to be closer to Brazil’s regulated betting industry, which continues to grow. This is prooefd by the amount market generated in first half of the year, which is over $1.2 billion in tax revenue
Esportes da Sorte has a full federal licence since 2025 to operate in Brazil legally. It already owns Esportes da Sorte, Lottu and Onabet brands.
The deal of acquisition and transaction is currently under review by Brazil’s Administrative Council for Economic Defense (CADE).
The deal reflects a broader consolidation trend in Brazil’s betting market. Recent transactions include Flutter Entertainment acquiring a controlling stake in Betnacional and ANA Gaming expanding its portfolio through several acquisitions, highlighting growing competition in one of the world’s largest regulated betting markets.
