During AffPapa Conference Cancun 2026, taking place November 23 to 25 in Mexico, Nordic Partners Gaming will host a Counter-Strike 2 challenge at the Esports Zone, giving attendees the chance to play against professional CS2 player Lukas “FreeZe” Hegmann.
Hegmann has years of professional Counter-Strike experience, having represented teams including BIG, BIG Academy, and ALTERNATE aTTaX, with around 8,000 matches played and a 57% career win rate.
At the conference, he will take part in NPG’s Esports Zone activation, giving visitors the opportunity to join the gaming setup and test their own CS2 skills against an experienced competitive player.
Håvard Lehn, Co-Founder and CEO of Nordic.Partners Group, shared:
We want people to experience esports, not just hear about it. Bringing FreeZe to AffPapa Cancun gives attendees a chance to get behind the screen, challenge a professional player, and see the competitive side of Counter-Strike for themselves. It’s also a great way to bring the esports and iGaming communities closer together.
The challenge is designed to make esports a hands-on part of the conference rather than something attendees simply watch. Throughout the event, visitors can challenge FreeZe directly, try out competitive Counter-Strike from the player’s seat, and interact with NPG at the Esports Zone.
NPG will also run a jersey giveaway as part of the activation, giving participating attendees the chance to win an official Nordic Partners Gaming jersey.
Levon Nikoghosyan, CEO and Founder of AffPapa, commented:
We want to make AffPapa Conference Cancun an experience where people can do more than just attend panels and meetings. Having NPG bring competitive Counter-Strike into the event gives attendees a chance to get involved and connect with the esports community in a different way. It’s a great addition to the conference, and we’re looking forward to seeing attendees take part.
The Esports Zone is a part of NPG’s presence at AffPapa Conference Cancun 2026 and follows Nordic Partners Gaming’s expansion into competitive esports during 2026.
