Large-Cap Leaders

  • Flutter Entertainment plc (+1.91%) – Flutter remained the biggest company in this sector, as gauged by its market capitalization of $17.45B and revenue of $17.16B. The company has improved by 1.91%, which is a recovery from the previous week’s drop of 2.18%. Flutter had trading volume of $1.7M shares, which shows active trading, although this figure is quite lower than that of DraftKings.
  • DraftKings Inc. (+4.34%) – DraftKings was among the best performers during this week regarding large-cap stocks, showing growth of 4.34% with 11.74M shares trading. The growth is relatively modest as compared to previous drops. However, it indicates rebirth of interest of investors.
  • Super Group (+1.47%) – Super Group has grown 1.47%, with the market cap now at $7.03B. This growth is not big. However, with trading volume approximately at 1.85M, it shows stable activity of investors.
  • Rush Street Interactive (+0.27%) – Rush Street Interactive showed less impressive performance than other players with its growth of only 0.27%, with the market cap of $6.13B. This performance is less than that of DraftKings and Flutter, but nevertheless, the stock performed relatively steadier than others, as the company has established online operations.
  • Churchill Downs Incorporated (+1.34%) – Churchill Downs recorded a growth of 1.34%, thus recovering from the last week’s fall of 3.56%. The company’s market capitalization stood at $5.85B, while revenue remained at $2.99B.

Mid-Tier

  • Brightstar Lottery (+1.31%) – Brightstar Lottery has reported an increase of 1.31%. This brings the company’s market capitalization to $1.98 billion. The company continues to exhibit stable conditions, benefiting from the lottery-related business model and already established revenue of $2.47 billion. A trading volume of more than 2.65 million shares makes the company among the most actively traded corporations.
  • Accel Entertainment (+0.61%) – Accel Entertainment posted an increase of 0.61% and has a market capitalization of $941.84 million. The company has continued to exhibit stable performance, owing to its operation of distributed gaming and revenue of $1.39 billions. Despite the slight decrease of the market capitalization, the weekly moving trend shows that investors are quite optimistic.
  • Codere Online (+0.11%) – Codere Online remained almost unchanged, increasing by only 0.11%. The market capitalization reached $423.78 million. The limited change indicates that prices were stable during the reporting week. However, low trading volumes (7,271 shares) show that the market has not been very active.
  • Meridian Holdings (No Reported Change) – Meridian Holdings has not showed any changes during the week. The market capitalization is $173.46 million. Although no changes of the price happened, the number of traded shares reached an impressive 79,241 shares. The small market capitalization shows that trading liquidity is important for this corporation.

Small-cap

  • Inspired Entertainment (-3.23%) – Among the old small players, Inspired Entertainment was the worst performer, falling by 3.23% with a total market capitalization of $134.43M. The volumes of shares traded by the company exceeded 413,000 indicating enhanced market activity during the decrease. The stock’s performance is inconsistent with the recovery of the sector while indicating that the small gaming technology and content suppliers are still under pressure.
  • High Roller Technologies (-0.16%) – High Roller Technologies was only slightly down by 0.16% ending the week with a market capitalization of $67.83M. The stock performed relatively stable compared to its smaller counterparts though the volumes of shares traded were limited to 22,530.
  • Grandstand Limited (-1.11%) – Grandstand Limited decreased by 1.11%, bringing the market capitalization of the company down to $63.36M. The stock behaved worse than the broader market, although the decline was not substantial. The number of shares traded amounted to 99,845 which can be considered low in comparative terms, given the size of the company.
  • Bragg Gaming Group (+2.29%) – Bragg Gaming increased by 2.29% and gained a market capitalization of $41.20 million, outperforming bigger players in terms of percentage change although the trading volumes were low (11,938 shares traded).
  • Sports Entertainment Gaming Global (+17.11%) – Sports Entertainment Gaming Global was the best performer in terms of percentage. The stock recorded 119,728 shares traded, making its percentage gain particularly notable relative to its small size.

This week’s data shows a recovery in the iGaming sector, with all the listed companies on the rise in terms of weekly performance.

Market sentiment improved relative to last week, but the extent of the market dynamics was different among the larger operators of sports betting and online casinos. However, the fact that established firms gained at a very steady pace, while the micro-cap companies continued to move so dramatically suggests that such differences exist in terms of liquidity, capitalization and trading risk.
